Herbert Samuels is a partner of SG&S.  He was born in Brooklyn, New York.  He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1951 from the City College of New York, and his Juris Doctor Degree in 1954 from Brooklyn Law School.  Mr. Samuels is admitted to practice law in California, New York, and Florida.  He is a member of the California Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  Mr. Samuels is also a member of the panel Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association.  Mr. Samuels has been a lecturer at bar association and continuing education programs. 

For over thirty years, Mr. Samuels has been practicing law focusing in all aspects of the real estate industry.  He handles complex major real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures with individual transactions involving hundreds of millions of dollars for major companies.  He has represented and continues to represent major publicly- and privately-held real estate companies and developers.

Mr. Samuels' community activities include past membership on the Board of Trustees of the Orange County Museum of Art and leadership roles in the South Coast Repertory Company and other organizations.
