Jeffrey Grider is senior counsel at SG&S.  He was born in Burbank, California. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University in 1978, and his Juris Doctor Degree (cum laude) from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1981. While in law school, Mr. Grider participated in the Scott Moot Court Honors Program. He is admitted to the State Bar of California as well as the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California. Mr. Grider has served as a mediator and arbitrator for the Orange County Superior Court for over ten years and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Grider is a civil litigation attorney concentrating in cases involving real estate, construction, land use, environmental, product liability, insurance and complex contract and tort issues. He has represented real estate developers and builders, general contractors, subcontractors, real estate brokers, manufacturers, homeowners' associations, oil companies, and business organizations of all sizes, with respect to projects ranging from custom residences and residential subdivisions of up to 550 units, to hotels and other major commercial projects including the MGM Grand Hotel and Las Vegas Hilton Hotel fire litigations.

Mr. Grider has been a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission for over ten years (Chairman 2006) and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
