Martin Stein is an associate at SG&S.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 1972, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Southwestern School of Law in 1975.

 

Mr. Stein’s practice is in real estate law.  He represents land developers, homebuilders and commercial developers in the planning, design and preparation of project documentation for condominiums, planned developments, conversions, master planned communities, mixed-use developments, and mobile home parks.  He also works closely with local governing agencies and regulatory agencies, such as the California Department of Real Estate, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

 

Mr. Stein is an active member of the Building Industry Association and has been a member of the DRE committee serving the Riverside/Baldy View Chapter.  He is a member of the Condominium and Cooperative Housing Committee of the State Bar of California, and previously served on the Department of Real Estate task force which was responsible for streamlining revisions to the California Subdivided Lands Act.  He has been a seminar speaker and panelist for programs sponsored by the Building Industry Association and the Community Associations Institute.  Mr. Stein also serves on the Executive Board of the Pacific Southwest Region of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
