Philip Green is a partner of SG&S.  He was born in Berlin, Germany.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (cum laude) from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1976, where he was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1979.  While in law school, Mr. Green served as a Comment Editor on the UCLA Law Review.  He is admitted to the State Bar of California, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California.

Mr. Green is a civil litigation attorney specializing in most aspects of business and real estate litigation. Mr. Green has been lead counsel in over seventy-five trials, arbitrations and appeals. For over 25 years, Mr. Green has represented a large number of residential builders and developers as well as subcontractors, architects, engineers, homeowners, and others. Mr. Green has also handled hundreds of real estate and business litigation disputes, including contract, partnership and corporate disputes, landlord/tenant, successor liability issues, collection and banking matters, and insurance litigation.
