Scott Albrecht is a partner at SG&S. He was born in Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (magna cum laude) from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1994, where he was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1998. While in law school, Mr. Albrecht served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Charles McCoy and Hon. Daniel Curry of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Albrecht is a civil litigation attorney concentrating in all aspects of business litigation, including contract, real estate, corporate and partnership disputes, employment and international business litigation. He has represented a number of cities and municipalities on multimillion dollar public construction claim cases involving concurrent delay and cost overrun issues. Mr. Albrecht has experience representing owners, developers and subcontractors in commercial construction projects, including bridges, roadways, airports, and buildings.
Mr. Albrecht has extensive experience in trial and pre-trial practice in both state and federal courts. |
